Abstract

In the article, the author focused on the use of economic projects by China to strengthen its position in Kazakhstan. This policy applies to the entire Central Asian region. The article how, by means of Kazakhstan's investment, the Chinese limit the Russian influence in the region . In his considerations, the author analyzed the main investment implemented in 2018-2019. Each case was investigated separately. After analyzing individual cases, he presented the answer to the research question: Which country's investments are more in line with the state development plan of the Republic of Kazakhstan? The methodology of the article was based on induction. In his considerations, the author examined the extent to which the economic projects implemented by the Chinese and Russians fit into the Kazakhstan 2050 development plan initiated by President Nursultan Nazarbayev in 2012.
