Decorating your body with a needle and various types of dyes is becoming more and more popular and socially acceptable. However, tattooed people are affected by exclusion at work precisely because of their freely changing appearance. A teacher's tattoo in the 21st century should not evoke negative emotions, as long as it does not contain offensive content. Employers and parents have a range of demands on educators, but do not appearance claims undermine the human right to freedom? Currently, there are no studies on the exclusion of people with tattoos from this occupational group. The conclusions contained in this publication give hope for the dissemination of tolerant behaviour and approval in workplaces.
