Creative workshop as an area of self-knowledge development − methodical aspects of inclusive education
Abstract
This paper discusses the issue of use of the author's methods of creative workshops accompanying artistic creation in achieving the objectives formulated on the basis of inclusive pedagogy. The pedagogical message of workshop is revealed in focusing on personal development. Its attractive form is an additional asset - the workshop activities is an arranged artistic situation, which is particularized by the activity of the persons involved.
The text presents qualitative research on development of self-knowledge (in
terms of identity) in the visual creation which is the main stage of workshop activities.
The process of self-narration was analyzed, which was initiated during the workshop
“The first time I became myself”.The results achieved demonstrate the effectiveness of
creative workshop in personal development, which indicates the value of this method
for inclusive education.
