Abstract

In this article, using the example of the European Union Advisory Mission for the Reform of the Civilian Security Sector in Ukraine (EUAM Ukraine), the author analyzed the mechanism of operation of the mission and its role in the process of reforming the civilian security sector in Ukraine in 2014-2022. As part of the research on the above issues, the author analyzed the conditions for the EU's decision to establish the mission and presented the legal basis for its launch, status, goals, mandate, command structure, financing, and its course.
