Abstract

The article, within the detailed theory of the subject security values, following the principles of the general theory of values and normative ethics, identifies and creates a collection of values constituting the security. Also, the subjective values’ manner of existence and comprehension were deductively introduced. Moreover, the methods of their acknowledgement and standardisation were suggested. The created set of values was subject to the ranking and classifying procedures. Consequently, the security values were tiered and ascribed to the established categories. The elements of the set of values were ordered and situated within the network and hierarchic structures. Finally, the actual understanding of the values within the aforementioned constructions was defined.
