Abstract

The aim of the article is to present the amended criminal law solutions in the subject of article 258 dealing with an organized group and criminal association. The background of these considerations is the statistical analysis of the phenomenon of organized crime in three basic areas of its activity - in the criminal, economic and drug areas. In addition, statistics will be presented on the total number of criminal groups eliminated in recent years. An important cognitive element is also an indication of the importance of the phenomenon, primarily in terms of the damage generated to the State Treasury.
