This is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. 

AIMS AND SCOPE:

De Securitate et Defensione is an international, peer-reviewed journal publishing original research since 2015, biannualy by the Institute of Security Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Siedlce (Poland). 

Scientific problems raised in the De Securitate et Defensione are dedicated to general issues of security and defense. The articles can be both empirical and theoretical. Editorial board reports that the journal does not have a paper version, therefore all publications posted on the site are original (reference) versions of Journal.
The journal is placed on the list of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Poland.

"DEVELOPMENT OF SCIENTIFIC JOURNALS" PROGRAMME: 

"De Securitate et Defensione. O Bezpieczeństwie i Obronności" has received funding from the Ministry of Education and Science under the programme titled "Development of Scientific Journals" (project no. RCN/SP/0541/2021/1, date of signing the contract: 22.11.2022 r.). The amount of the grant is PLN 44,972.00 and the total value of the project is PLN 52,972.80. 

The purpose of the project is to implement actions aimed at enhancing the level of publishing and editorial practices, increasing the journal's influence on the scientific development and keeping the journal in the international scientific circulation. The project duration is 24 months (15.11.2022 – 15.11.2024).
