Abstract

The purpose of this study is to present the importance of sensory integration therapy among children and adolescents facing daily challenges associated with neuro-developmental disorders. The article highlights the application and course of sensory integration therapy, as well as the principles established by the method’s pioner, Anne Jean Ayres. The study also recommends the Makaton holistic educational program and facilities that promote the development of children and adolescents through sensory
integration methods.
