Features of the middle class formation in modern Belarus

Abstract

The article examines the main characteristics of the middle class as the basic foundation of society. The analysis of the current state of the Belarusian society is carried out. Its economic and demographic characteristics, which determine the level of development and well-being of the population, have been investigated. The processes of the middle class formation in modern Belarus and the prospects for its formation into a stable social stratum are described. The leading and fundamental role of the middle class in ensuring stability and well-being in society is revealed and substantiated.
