Abstract

The development of the Erasmus program over more than three decades reflects changes in the global approach to education, where mobility and international cooperation are central. The article highlights the important role of the program as a tool for building European integration, promoting intercultural values and supporting sustainable local development. This topic is particularly essential in the context of the increasing importance of educational tourism as an element that enriches the personal and professional development of students and supports the competitiveness of economies. Learning mobility within the program is not only a tool for acquiring knowledge and skills, but above all a space for shaping values and education.
