Abstract

The aim of this study is to indicate and arise awareness of the profound changes that are currently taking place in the relations between media, politics, society and the market. These changes are fundamental, though not easily perceived, and constitute a growing process, especially in the era of the crisis of liberal democracy, technological revolution and universal digitization, which affects the speed of information circulation. The main research hypothesis is: there is no turning back from the media orientation of democracy today. The progress of this process will result in significant changes in the practice of social life, reorienting the way of thinking not only about the media, their impact on our daily lives and democracy, but also on politics.
