Abstract

The article presents interpretation of Alexander Blok’s poem «Sphere incandescent» (1912). The author shows that this poem’s central conception is a version of a famous «pyramid of light and darkness». This symbol he traces back to platonic and neo-platonic traditions of European culture. In the poem it is connected with ancient doctrine of apokatastasis.
