This article is devoted to the study of the representation of Soviet masculinity in the novel Kremulator by the Russian-speaking Belarusian writer Sasha Filipenko. On the example of the male images of the novel, the main features of the “traumatized masculinity” inherent in the gender policy of the Stalinist regime are considered. Signs of a “masculinity of trauma”,vulnerability, powerlessness and deprived sexuality, are revealed.
