Zasób słownictwa czynnego dzieci z niepełnosprawnością intelektualną w stopniu znacznym, umiarkowanym i lekkim

Abstrakt

The speech of people with intellectual disability remains to be a little-explored area
of linguistic research. The article involves a description of the range of active vocabulary of
children with intellectual disability to a mild, moderate or severe degree. In three study trials,
speech samples of subjects with intellectual disability as well as children of typical development
were obtained. Word declinations and then lexemes were distinguished. On the basis of the
collected data, the average use of words was determined and a statistical analysis was conducted
in order to indicate significant differences between the compared groups.
