Intellectual capital management in a company - theory and practice

Abstract

Expected for a long time the change from the traditional economy to an economy based on knowledge, is gradually becoming a reality, thus gaining popularity on the importance of the concept of intellectual capital management. Developing intellectual capital is one of the primary activities affecting the competitive position of the company on the market. The article discusses the nature of intellectual capital management, and presents the results of empirical studies for measuring the degree of the implementation of this concept in the practice of the management of organizations.
