Architecture of the common intrusion detection framework
Abstract
Efficiency of the Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) mainly depends on their organizational, technical and functional structures, i.e. from the implemented of the system architecture. The fact, that in the designing process of several IDS different models were used, resulted in lack, of co-operation between those systems in complex computer systems environment. At this stage, as a natural consequence, R&D efforts were undertaken aimed at creation of a common model of the IDS architecture
