Author Guidelines

Papers must be written in English and include original material not published or being considered elsewhere. A paper should contain up to 12 pages, including graphics, tables, and references. Exceeding this limit may result in the paper being rejected without being sent for review. Manuscripts should be prepared in LaTeX. To prepare a paper, the authors should use a LaTeX class and example document template (Latex template). Figures should be prepared as bitmap (PNG, JPG) or (preferred) vector format (SVG, PDF, PS).

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • Studia Informatica will publish original, innovative and creative research results. From time to time, the journal publishes survey articles.
  • All submitted articles (in English language only) should report original, previously unpublished research results, experimental or theoretical, and will be peer-reviewed. Articles submitted to the journal must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere.
  • Manuscripts should follow the style of the journal and are subject to both review and editing (see Guidelines for Authors).
  • Papers will be typically published in less than half a year after the final version in the correct form is received. Acceptance will be based primarily on originality, scientific merit, novelty, contribution and relevance to the journal scope. Nevertheless acceptance is rather higher.
  • Please designate a principal author, and provide full name, affiliation, address, telephone, and e-mail address.

Articles

All submissions must meet the following criteria:

  • Compliance with the Author Guidelines. Manuscripts must follow the formatting, structural, and bibliographic requirements specified by the journal.

  • Originality and exclusivity. The manuscript must not have been previously published, nor be under consideration by any other journal.

  • Accuracy and completeness of references. All citations must be correctly formatted and correspond to sources listed in the reference section.

  • Proper numbering and labeling of tables and figures. All tables and figures must be clearly numbered, titled, and referenced within the text.

  • Permissions for all third‑party materials. Authors must obtain and provide permissions for the use of any images, datasets, or other copyrighted materials included in the manuscript.

According to the Article 13 (1, 2) of the General Data Protection Regulation from 27th, April 2016, we inform that:

  1.  University of Siedlce is represented by The Rector, with headquarters: 2, St. Konarski street, 08-110 Siedlce, is the administrator of your data;
  2. Data Protection Supervisor deals with the correctness of the data processing. Possible contact by e-mail: iod@uph.edu.pl;
  3. Your personal data will be processed to complete the process of publishing the publication of which you are the author or co-author. For this purpose we will process your contact data;
  4. Given data will be processed according to the Article 6 (1) of the General Data Protection Regulation (Dz.U. UE L119 z 4.05.2016);
  5. Providing personal data is voluntary, however, necessary to realize the goals for which they were taken;
  6. The data will not be made available to external entities, except by virtue of provisions laid down by law;
  7. The data will be kept for the necessary time to realize the afore-mentioned purposes;
  8. You will have the right to access your data and, in accordance with the law: the right to correct the data, to remove them, to limit their processing, to transfer the data, the right to raise objections and the right to withdraw the agreement at any time;
  9. You have the right to lodge a complaint to the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych);
  10. Your data will be processed automatically and will not be used for profiling purposes
