Abstrakt

The new linguistic periodicals of the first decade of XXI century are usually year/half-year issues representing the output of linguists gathered around the societies of Polish colleges and universities. Part of the periodicals is intended for publishing students’ thesis from master’s or doctoral seminars. All of them are either of a wide multidisciplinary profile or are only limited to one discipline, for example linguistic textology, ethnolinguistics, etc. The review of the newest periodicals (sometimes very difficult to obtain)
allows realising which direction contemporary linguistics aims at.
