Safety in the transport of the dangerous goods

Abstract

In order to ensure the safety of transport and to minimize the risk occurring during the road transport of dangerous goods it is necessary to apply the principles governed by the relevant rules. These mainly the requirements related to the vehicles involved in transport. Important elements
are the types of labeling and packaging of dangerous goods transported that were included in the recommendations developed and published on 30 September 1957 in Geneva by the Committee of Experts of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe. These recommendations can be found under the European Agreement on road transport of dangerous goods.
