Abstract

This summary presents the methodical aspects of regional forestry planning in Belarus and Russia using the experience of the economic sectoral plan development for Belarusian state forestry institutions and Russian forestry plans of the Smolensk and Kaluga regions. The level of efficiency and accuracy of economic sections of regional forestry plans has been assessed and guidelines for planning improvement have been recommended.
