Abstrakt

In the novel To Kill a Mockingbird, contemporary American writer Harper Lee, presents a series of vividly drawn images of masculine figures. The main character is a representation of what might be termed a ‘real’ man: honest, fair, courageous, determined, and casual. The other characters, despite appearing somewhat in the shadow of the protagonist, are also worthy of consideration as subjects for literary interpretation.
